I like the compact nature of this mirror. It provides all of the features of a larger, lighted, magnification mirror in a smaller foot print. Great for travel and the battery/plug combination is perfect.

I've tried several travel make-up mirrors. They either don't have magnification that's easy to work with or the light is too dim. This one is bright and has a good natural and magnification mirror--all this and an alarm clock built right in. It is also AC/DC and handy to use when an electricity outlet isn't available or if you are traveling in another country. If I ever break this one, I will order another one before the day is over.
I think this mirror is the "Greatest"! I love the foldable size, the 10X magnification is very clear, and the regular size on the top, lighting is good, too. Wish I would have received instructions for the clock. Otherwise - it's a great buy!

Zadro 10X/1X Ultimate Lighted Make-Up MirrorI LOVE this makeup mirror. My daughter liked mine so much I bought 2 of them for family Christmas presents. Nothing lasts forever & I've used mine soooo much it has finally dimmed. I'm buying the exact same one again. The only drawback I see for myself is the top mirror doesn't light, but I'm sure not everyone wants both lighted.

The item is worth the cost. It doesn't fog up in the shower and the mirror's clarity is good. The LED light is bright and turns itself off automatically. It is provided with several different methods of mounting. I recommend this product.

Excellent seller. I was replacing an identical mirror that wouldn't stick to the wall anymore. This one is just what I was looking for. And it really is fogless!
Love the mirror. Just wish the sticky tape worked on tile. Have to hang over shower door. Not our intention.

After one or two showers, I applied the cleaner that came with the product. Now I have to spray hot water on the mirror to rinse off the darn fog. When I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to buy the Z'Fogless Cleaner, they don't carry it and I cannot find it. I really like the idea of the light and clock, though
The mirror will only remain fogless for a couple showers...after that, will fog up faster than a normal mirror, and cleaning doesn't help. Additionally, the clock goes out after a few months (and I've replaced mine now three times with all the same things going wrong with each replacement) and the light stopped working in 2 of the 3 I've owned. Funny that I bought a fogless shower mirror from a grocery store for $4 that has been fog free for years.

I am very pleased with the Rucci 10X mirror. It is perfect for putting on mascara without my reading glasses. My husband enjoys it for shaving. It is exactly as advertised, sturdy, and there is no distortion of image, even on the 10X side. A winner!

Took about 15 minutes start to finish to get out tools and mount to wall and clean up.

I purchased this mirror after spending many hours looking at the alternatives and reading many, many reviews all over the Internet: not enough light in this one, cheap bits in that one, hard to install in another, this one fell apart, that one cost a fortune... the list of complaints is endless. One can spend a lot of money for very little value. I'm old enough that 10X is necessary for detail work (brows, makeup, and the occasional hair in the eye) and I need a good deal of light from the mirror since the lighting in the area is not spectacular on it's own.
Now for some good news:
This mirror works just fine, it's bright enough to pluck eyebrows, the glass is distortion free, and the unit is very easy to install. (Installation consists of screwing a separate back plate to the wall and hanging the mirror on the back plate - 'cake.) I purchased an extra bulb with the unit and received free shipping from the MirrorPlace. (I don't know if purchasing the extra bulb with the unit had any thing to do with receiving free shipping.)
The cons:
The unit is plastic (it's plain white, at least, and not ugly) - it won't win any prizes in beauty. The extension arm is also plastic and it is not very long. (The base is about two inches deep and the segmented arm is another six inches long; add about three more for the mirror at a tilt. The whole mirror extends out about eleven inches from the wall.) I suggest placing the mirror where you can comfortably get to it and where you can leave it in one position (to minimize wear and tear on the armature). Having said all that, the unit is relatively well made for what it is and does not seem to be overly "wimpy".
I have (at another home) a free standing version of this mirror and can make one more observation: Once in a while the mirror will make a mild "popping" sound, as if the plastic is adjusting in some way. Since there is no heat to speak of (fluorescent bulb), I do not know the cause; there has been no ill effect and no damage that I can discern. It remains a mystery.
I recommend this mirror as an alternative to the more expensive models when function trumps style!

My wife loves this mirror. We have purchased other alot higher priced mirrors just to take them back because they were not as good. Most of the mirrors have low lighting which does not work very well. This mirror is very bright so you can see what you're doing with ease. Highly recommend this mirror for anyone interested in a lighted mirror.
This review is for the pedestal version of the same mirror.
I needed to upgrade from my 20 year old old Clairol tri-fold makeup mirror because my eye sight had deteriorated such that I needed to wear glasses to see clearly (even with the 5x magnification). The 7x magnification of this mirror was just right for me but Zadro also makes a 5x version and, in their travel mirror, an 8x version.
The 100 watt illumination of this mirror might be as much as you can get in a fluorescent mirror and is bright enough to see well in an otherwise darkened room. I much prefer fluorescent lights to incandescent for makeup mirrors.
The size of the mirror is just right. Any larger would be overkill.
I prefer the design of the pedestal version of this lamp as it brings the mirror closer to your face and looks more attractive sitting on the counter.
I would have been willing to may more for a dual sided mirror (7x/1x) with this same illumination but like this mirror, nonetheless.
