Its convenient to have a hand held and regular shower head in one. I switch between the two during my showers. The water pressure on the outer head could be a little stronger but thats the only negative thing I can find. I have been using this shower head for couple of weeks now. The first one I ordered it had a scratched dual adapter. so I talked to Amazon.com's CS they sent me a new one within 3 days!!

Update on 06/16/2010: This combo showerhead has stood the test of time, we all still love it, and I just bought another one for our daughter for her new apartment (a different showerhead just won't due after using this awesome one!). Of all the things I've bought on Amazon.com, this one has to be my favorite and such a great value. Over two years of use and it still looks and works like new. So buy it, already!
Update on 06/25/08: Now that we've all had a chance to use it, everyone in the family raves about this showerhead and handheld combination! It is adjustable so it does not spray into the face, outside the tub, or onto the far wall. We all agree this creates the best shower experience we've ever had. I'm considering snagging a few additional to give as gifts (baby shower, housewarming, Christmas, birthday, etc.), and one extra for the day we install a shower upstairs. We couldn't be more pleased!

We just received and installed this showerhead today, and it is exactly the type of innovative solution we've been searching for! We are extremely pleased with its fit, functionality, design and appearance, not to mention the extremely reasonable price!
As an older arthritis and fibromyalgia sufferer, I so appreciate the ease of use, the extra-wide spray of the showerhead, the variety of adjustments, and the lightweight design of the handheld shower. It is wonderful to be able to keep the hot water coming down and keeping me warm even while using the handheld showerhead, which also cuts down on the amount of bending and reaching. The spray adjustments are perfect for us; after half a century of living, one's skin starts becoming thinner and more fragile. We don't really need or want endless settings seemingly available on other models, including "pitbull", "jackhammer", "kung-fu kick" and oh, yes.... the invigorating "needles on steroids". The handheld showerhead will make it so much easier to take a quick shower, clean and properly rinse the tub; quickly and thoroughly rinse shampoo, conditioner (and haircoloring products) from thick hair; and even wash the cat! (She thinks she's a dog, so it's OK.)
We live in an older bungalow (built in 1915) in a rural area, and I worried that the showerhead would seem out of place, but that was not the deciding factor. We have a clawfoot tub with an oval shower-rod frame suspended from above, so it was important to find a showerhead that had the features we need and would enjoy, but one that would be lightweight enough for our current shower setup. None of the local stores had anything that would work out (too big, too heavy, only a showerhead with no handheld, or only a handheld with no overhead shower.) We would have preferred a longer hose, but this five foot one will be adequate, and the price really can't be beat. Longer hoses are available on Amazon.com. I really don't mind that it is made of plastic. Luxury, like money, is relative. When I was a little girl, my bathtub was a number 2 washtub in the middle of a room in a primitive homestead shack in rural Idaho. Washtub Oval 2.25 Gal By today's standards, I believe that all of Idaho at that time would be considered beyond rural. Still, it was wonderful to have a woodstove to heat the water my mother pumped by hand.
I believe that in most parts of the world today, this showerhead would be considered quite luxurious. I am thankful that I was able to afford this, I am thankful to be able to shop at Amazon.com, and I know we will thoroughly enjoy the luxury this awesome showerhead will provide.
I hope this review was helpful to you in some way, and I hope you will give this neat invention a try. I give it my highest recommendation to anyone who wants an awesome shower, especially for anyone with children to bathe, or who suffers from arthritis, fibromyalgia, limited range of motion, chronic pain, or who owns a cat that thinks she's a dog. Just got this from Amazon two days ago. Installed it with no tools and no problems. Simple and straight forward. I don't have good water pressure in my bathroom. This showerhead makes it feel like the pressure is much more. Best of the handhelds I've ever used. I've had the ones with one head on top of the other and the flow on this one is much wider. You can set the handheld part to several different sprays. I'd recommend it to anyone and would buy it again.

This item can be easily installed. It claims to require wrench or pliers, but if your hand grip is strong, you don't need them for installation. You may need tools to remove your old shower head. I ordered this instead of a 20-dollar-some Waterpik shower head because of its metal connector, vacuum breaker, and lifetime warranty.
The wide shower head makes wide water spray, which lets me feel I am in a rain of warm water -- a REAL shower. I set the diverter to allow more water to the handheld so that the center water pressure is strong, surrounded by wide soft spray. The handheld was a little tight when I tried to remove it from its holder, but a few uses have made it less tight.
One comment on the popular Waterpik TRS 559. When I was shopping for shower head a few weeks ago, I seriously considered TRS 559 because it was cheaper. Back then, its chrome and brushed nickel versions had separate sets of reviews, and a few reviews on the chrome version were negative because of broken plastic connector. However, amazon seems to have moved the chrome version reviews away, and now all you see are good reviews on the brushed nickel version.

Awesome shower head that is night and day difference over anything else I've used. During the holidays we got a cheaper detachable hand shower head that didn't fit well into our shower space (those types tend to sit high above the tub and have a flat, narrow angle, spray). Anyway, after some research we decided to replace that with this Peerless two in one since it seems like a logical progression from both the regular heads and detachable handheld heads. Installion was easy, but the washers which came with our kit was the stiff plastic types that allowed leakage and reduce water pressure. Luckily we had the sturdy soft-rubber washers at hand to use with this head. Also our kit came short one washer (only 2, instead of 3) and I wasn't sure if the idea was to not use washers on the 3 joints, but you NEED washers on all the joints or the pressure will be less and the joints without washers will leak.
That said, once the head was up and running I was very pleased with the pressure and especially the wide flow angle of the main shower head. The center hand head has all the luxury options for pulse, massage and criss-cross spray which was a coveted feauture lacked on our previous head. My one gripe was the plastic hose. Out the box it was stiff, coiled up and stubborn to hang down. After a steady flow of hot water thru it the plastic softened up and it eventually broke-in and hung nicely from the head (see pictures).
I would've prefer a chrome-metallic vertebrae-style coil (similar to the ones you see on public telephones), since the plastic tends to mildew easier than a chrome-metallic coil. Many cheaper hand held heads come with chrome-metallic coils so I'm not sure why Peerless would opt for an even cheaper plastic coil. That said, it is not a bad coil. The plastic is very durable and high grade, but it still is plastic. Also you can easily replace the plastic hose with a metallic coil.
Overall this was a great choice for the shower. A+
PROS:

- Kit comes with cheap plastic-like washers, get rubber ones and you'll get better water pressure, no leaks and be happier.
-Plastic hose should've been metallic chrome but that is my personal gripe as the plastic hose is still very good.
- Those with shower caddies that hang from the shower head pipe may need to relocate these caddies or buy new ones that suction to the wall. The handle of the hand held part and the hose may possibly obstruct any caddies that hang there.
- Those with tiny shower enclosures or very narrow tubs (less than 2 feet) may get spill overs as the spray angle of this head is wider than most normal shower heads.

This head generates excellent pressure at only 2.5gpm and full coverage. It feels like more pressure than my generic showerhead with regulator removed, which allows 3.7gpm. The water flow of this Delta looks quite messy, but is not bad. The air that is added to the water to boost pressure does make it sting ever so slightly, but not as bad as most showerheads that use air to boost pressure. (The Oxygenics Trispa uses similar technology but it really hurts if you have average water pressure.) The build quality is excellent too.
I have tried over 10 showerheads recently, and this one has the 2nd best pressure of all of them. (The "best" one stings too much.) I highly recommend this showerhead. It is the one I plan to keep using. Sadly, it does not come in a handheld version.

This is a very well designed product. It was purchased to replace a Waterpik showerhead that had outlived its usefulness. The Delta Fluidics showerhead looks substantial when you take it out of the package, and does not feel cheap at alll. Certainly not twenty-five dol lars cheap.
It installed in 25 seconds, with no leaks or other issues.
The real magic is to turn this thing on and get under it. It works like a charm! I have pretty low pressure in my upstairs bathroom, and this thing is like a miracle worker, creating a great spray that's a great mixture of power and coverage.
I wound up not using it on the high power setting, it was too "diffused" with aeration. The lower setting was plenty powerful. As noted above, plenty of coverage and good power. It's the first "aerated" showerhead that I've used which hasn't been slightly stinging or uncomfortable to be under for an extended amount of time.
Hard to believe that it's rated as a 1.8gpm flow. I highly recommend this product.

What can I say. It's a shower head ;-). The lever toggles between 1.8 gallons per minute and 2.5 GPM. We leave it at 1.8 all the time since there isn't much difference to the 2.5 GPM setting. The shower feels good and not 'thin' as the really cheapy/stingy showerheads from the past - you know the kind: cone shaped and not much more water than an outdoor mister you find in the outdoor seating section at restaurants. At the same time, don't expect the same experience as a 4-5 GPM head. In our opinion a small sacrifice to make to conserve water.

After searching Amazon I found the Delta Fluidics Adjustable Shower Head, after reading the reviews I ordered one. Well every review is right this is a great shower head!!! I have always have bought the $50 to $60 massaging shower heads and took out the water restrictors so I would get the high pressure I like. Of course then making it flow at least 4 gallons per minute. After reading about the Delta Fluidics Adjustable Shower Head I thought I would give it a try.
The Delta Fluidics Adjustable Shower Head is built very well I don't think there is anything to break or clog ever. Trying it out on the 1.8 setting it's a nice gentle spray but still enough power to spray off soap. On the 2.5 setting its has very good pressure to penetrate all the way to your scalp when washing your hair. But the BEST thing about this shower head is the spray pattern. The 4 jets spray out in a cone pattern creating a full coverage spray across your whole body. Unlike a ring of water jets that sprays out of a regular showerhead. This full body coverage makes the water feel hotter that it actually is and will save your hot water.
After my first use I'm ordering a second shower head for my other bathroom!!! And for only $25 you won't be disappointed :)

I was saving up to buy the Aquasana showerhead filter, trying to rationalize spending $80 on a product just because our water smells a little funky. I researched dillegently about all of my shower-filter options, read all the Amazon and other sites reviews I could find, and while there was a lot of hype about Aquasana, the real user reviews made me question it's durability, value, and also, it wasn't very pretty.
Then I discovered this Culligan shower filter. It's a little bigger than my regular showerhead, but that's more the massage settings than the filtration unit. It's shiny chrome and looks really nice in my shower. It installed in about 3 minutes and has worked beautifully for the last 2 months.
My main reason for buying this was bad smelling water. This filter got rid of all the odors in our tap water (the metallic tap water smell and the super nasty hydrogen sulfide/rotten egg smell that only got worse the hotter the water was). But it's also improved my skin and hair condition. All this time I had thought I had dry skin and damaged hair. But not anymore. I never would have thought to blame the water!
The 5 massage settings are nice, but I find I like the regular spray shower setting. I was worried that a filter may impact my water pressure, but it actually seems to have improved. The highest-pressure setting on this is almost too much pressure, but it might be good for a theraputic massage.
This was a fabulous find for only ~$30. The quality of the showerhead alone would be worth that, even without the added bonus of filtering out all the yucky stuff.

I have battled eczema and extremely dry skin for a lifetime with countless moisturizers, creams, special body washes, etc. Who know my biggest enemy was my shower?! Now, for the first time ever, I can use regular BAR soap--if you have eczema, you know that this is a major coup! I can see a real difference now when I showered elsewhere on a holiday visit--I'm back to feeling like my skin was a flaky mess. I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone with dry skin and/or eczema. Have been using this shower filter head for a couple of weeks, I am very happy with it. Easy to install. I had very good water pressure out of my old showerhead, but this is even better. The massage setting is killer! The normal shower setting is great as well.
I bought this chlorine filter after I read the book "The Truth About Beauty" by Kat James. She tells how chlorine in our city water affects our skin, hair and internally since we breathe the mist while showering. The water does smell cleaner, my hair is fuller and I have more natural curl. Also when I skip a day washing my hair, my scalp does not feel dirty after just one day not washing it.

This is, without exaggeration, the best purchase I have ever made. It has a water-saving, 2.5-gallon-per-minute flow, which is both environmentally responsible and economical, combined with excellent water pressure and several powerful spray settings. (I prefer the standard spray setting, though, as the water pressure with some others can be almost too high.) It is well worth the price for these features alone.
The added filtration capability truly makes this an essential purchase, not just a worthwhile one, and it has done wonders for my family's severe itchy skin and my long wavy hair. I just love this showerhead, and the other models by the same company with the flexible neck. It was super easy to install, and it makes the water pressure seem so much more! I like the various settings, but the best part is that it stays just where you put it. I'm short and my husband is tall, so it's really great to have a showerhead the right height for both of us. I got one, and i liked it so much that when i moved i bought one for both bathrooms and for my mom! (She loves it now too!)
It's cheap, easy to use, overall, it's the BEST EVER. =) I highly recommend it! I got my first one at Home Depot, but now i can only find them online.

Bought this Waterpik to replace one that I'd had for about 10 years. This one is just as easy to install, just screw on, no tools needed. The adjustment compared to the older versions is much easier to do as well. We like the adjustable neck because it stays in place and can be adjusted for a wide variety of heights. Shower Set. I was curious if Amazon.com was offering that brand for cheaper, because all I wanted was the hand shower attachment. Sure enough, I found this hand shower kit for only $[...]. The online reviews were good so I purchased.
The kit came a day earlier than expected. I installed in less than 5 minutes with no tools, using the illustrated instructions on the packaging. I checked for leaks...none. With the shiny chrome finish, the kit looks classy, stylish, and luxurious. I took my first shower this morning and this piece heightened my shower experience! The water pressure felt so good. The kit heightens the shower nozzle, which is great for me, because I am 6'2". I definitely recommend.

This unit was very easy to install and looks double the price I paid for the whole set. Just the shower arm mount is equivalent to the full set by Hansgrohe. I was scared about the installation but the instructions are clear just need a spanner and some thermal plumbing tape and about 10 minutes.
I've been using it for a few weeks and the water pressure is great and the hose has adequate length to wash my toddler in the bath. I liked the hansgrohe showerhead so much I changed my other shower for another one of their green eco line to save water.
Great product considering the cheap price.

My husband is allergic to chlorine, so a shower filter is an absolute necessity. We've probably tried every filter that the home supply stores carry -- and this one makes all of those look like toy equipment.
It's not that the filters you get at Home Depot don't work. They do; they're certainly an improvement over the hard water we have, not to mention clearing out the chlorine. The thing is, they don't last long. The filters don't last three months, and we've never had the gizmo itself survive for more than a year. Usually, they broke in a dramatic manner, spraying the entire bathroom as they cracked with a loud bang. Depending on the design, they were also awkward to install, especially if you have a non-mundane shower head.
We've had the Aquasana for six months, and I've just bought the first replacement filter for it. This is definitely a significant improvement over those "basic" filters, and it's worth the extra money. The filtering is MUCH better -- I can tell the difference in that "I just feel cleaner" way -- and the filter lasts twice as long. It wasn't a bad installation, either. If you go to the company's Web site, you can also sign up for the filters to be auto-shipped to you, which is a distinct time savings.
Yes, this one costs a little more than the "basic" units you'll find at Lowe's or Home Depot. And it's definitely worth the expense.

After much research on the Internet, I came to the conclusion that this unit from Zoe Industries is the best bang for the buck. Having used a cheaper unit from one of the big name hardware stores and finding it totally inadequate, we purchased this unit through Amazon.com. It came with a new adjustable showerhead that puts out a wonderful spray pattern. The unit was easy to install and we no longer detect any smell of chlorine in the water. The replacable cartridge is an easy twist task without tools. I'm confident it will last as long as any unit in or even above it's price range. NO MORE DRY ITCHY SKIN!!! Get one and you'll be singing too.

I did a great deal of research on the Internet for the "best" shower filter. I was concerned about the filter not lasting, losing water pressure, etc. I came across the Aquasana on amazon and read all the great reviews on it... After ordering it, I am so glad that I did. It was really easy to install and I honestly feel like the water pressure coming out of it is BETTER than with my old shower head. The shower head swivels and has several different settings, like massage, rainfall-type flow, etc. It really does feel like you are showering in spring water. Just the idea of showering in chlorine-free and mineral-free water is refreshing in itself. I am really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone living in an apartment who wants filtered water and who cannot install a filter on the main line.... It's a little pricy but well worth it.

I am so happy with Aquasana Shower Filter. I live in a building where the water is so harsh and sometimes discolored. As a consequence, my skin shortly turned dry and I continuously got skin problems. I even thought about buying drinking water to clean my face everyday. Now that I have found Aquasana, I feel so happy. It does what it promises. I could feel the smoother skin by just using it from the first time. And it did feel like showering in natural spring water. I couldn't be happier with this product!

I have long, chemically treated hair. Ever since I moved to LA it has been severely dry and brittle b/c of the chlorine and minerals in the water. I've tried expensive shampoos & conditioner but nothing helped until now. This water filter is AWESOME! It's the ONLY thing that has helped and makes such a big difference! My hair feels SO much softer, and even looks cleaner. I noticed it after 1 wash! I never write reviews, but I was so excited about this I had to share. It was easy to install and the initial carbon residue flushes out in a couple minutes as described in the directions. I was concerned about losing water pressure, but it's great. If you have long, dry hair and live in a big city you should definitely try this. It's worth every penny.

I have purchased many other shower heads and nothing is as great as this one. You do have to remove the small disk (flow mimimizer) for greater performance. It feels like your in a rain shower. It is fantastic for the price paid. I have purchased other expensive ones and none compare to this one. Great product, great price.

I bought this showerhead about 2 years ago after trying 3 or 4 others from my local Home Depot. I could never get enough water pressure, even after taking the water saver out of the other showerheads. This rainfall showerhead beats all the others hands down with respect to water pressure and overall experience. My sister has an expensive, custom bathroom with a rainfall showerhead. This one is not as good as hers, but it's certainly a fantastic value for the price. I just installed one in my girlfriends shower and she really likes it too.

I have looked and compared different showerheads but this one is worth it.
It was easy to install. Water flow is awesome, kids like it too. It adjusts high and low and to different angles. That is why I'm getting another one for my sister.

For those of us who are tired of being power-washed in the shower, here is the antidote. It truly feels like standing under a warm, abundant rainfall to shower under the Interbath All Directional Rainfall Shower. There are few other remedies that match the soothing from a stressful day like this showerhead performs. The appliance appears to be sturdy - metal, not plastic - and it's a breeze to install. Wrap your junction in a couple of layers of Teflon tape before attaching the Rainfall, and you'll have no leaks. Highly recommended.
