This is a very lovely bath shelf and towel rack. The dimensions are not stated in the description, which are: 26in x 11.25in x 7.75in. It has a metal frame with a shiny chrome finish. This was the least expensive hotel style towel rack I could find and thought it would be flimsy but quite the contrary, it is VERY NICE and I love how it looks in my shower room! (note: the shipping and handling costs almost as much as the rack itself.. I live in Hawaii)

I wanted a towel rack and the only spot I had near the sink was over the toilet. This rack worked out great. It was shipped quickly and was quite easy to put together, I did myself. My husband mounted it to the wall but I dont think it was hard, just a few anchors and screws. I put two baskets on the shelf but you could stack towels or anything you might want. This rack is very solid and looks good. I think it was a great deal especially when you see the prices of some of the "hotel style" racks. Hope this helps.
Great space saver to store towels - out of the way

I bought this for a very small bathroom. I mounted it inside the bath/shower opposite the shower, high enough to avoid getting splashed. I've had it for a couple years now, and it looks like new. The upper bars hold towels and the lower bars are to hang towels and washcloths to dry after use.
I was afraid that it would look just like the racks at the hotels, but with my towels and decor, that's not a problem.
I'd recommend this to anyone needing space to store extra towels, and a place to hang them after their bath or shower.
It does what it says

It is sturdy, pretty, and functional. It hangs two regular sized towels to dry. And holds folded towels at the top. It's quite handy. Putting it together was a snap. As a tip for hanging to the wall, trace the holes of this rack onto a large paper (like newspaper) and then center that paper onto the wall where you want to hang this rack. That way, you don't have to measure the distance from that hole to this hole and from that hole to that wall corner, yada yada. Just a quick tip.
This towel rack was cheap and arrived very quickly. I was concerned that it was going to be flimsy but it is actually quite sturdy. It is not very fancy looking, very simple and clean, but for the price I don't think you can beat it. Looks nice in our bathroom. I would recommend this product.

This Magnetic Towel Bar can be placed on any steel surface, including doors, lockers, refrigerators, ovens, barbecues, file cabinets and even washing machines! Use it to keep a kitchen or hand towel handy whenever and wherever you need it! Made of stainless steel with an industrial strength magnet. Convenient, versatile and easy to use! Assembly level/degree of difficulty: No Assembly Required.
The magnets are plenty strong, it is nice looking, and small enough to fit on any metal surface in a kitchen. Not big enough for a kitchen towel, say, to dry without folding it over a little.

I bought mine from "Get Organized" through Amazon, but this looks like the same one.
I have absolutely no place for a towel bar in my kitchen near my sink. I desperately needed a magnetic solution. This worked perfectly on the side of my refrigerator. The magnets are pretty strong!
Yes, it will move if you pull hard on it, but it stays in place pretty well with the rubber feet and angle it rests the feet. I choose to lift towels off instead of just tugging from the bottom on one side. I do use hand-towels while they are on the rack without problem. It does move down the side an inch or two over months of use in my kitchen and I easily just move it back up. Sure, if you pull hard on it, it will move, but for me under normal wear and tear, it stays put. Yes, the sliding magnets can scratch, but the scrathes for me are very tiny and barely noticeable. If you slide anything metal on metal, of course it has a potential to scratch. The rubber feet don't scratch. You can barely see any tiny scratches after a full year of use at my house.
I am *extremely* happy with mine.
Doesn't Slip, Holds One Towel, Solid Construction
Reviewed by: Kevin Barrack, San Mateo, CA USA Review Date: 2009-12-09
The magnets on this are strong enough to hold probably any towel up. My fridge has a slight texture to it's surface and this doesn't slip. If you pull on the towel so that it pulls on the holder then it will move some, but it's not a problem to dry your hands without yanking on the thing.
Although the picture shows two towels being held, one on a front rod and one on a back rod, really only the front rod is feasibly usable. The back rod only has about an inch of open space between it and the fridge, so it would be a hassle to try and get a towel back there, unless you wanted to lift the rod assembly (it's hinged) to slip it in, which seems like more trouble than it's worth.
I haven't had any trouble with this scratching my fridge. It has left some very minor scuff marks after 2 years of use and moving it every now and then, so if you need to have everything looking flawlessly perfect then maybe this isn't for you. Although, really it's not like it has seriously marred my refrigerator, so if you can stand a little scuffing then this is an excellent product you should buy.
Oh, and if you're thinking of buying the matching Magnetic Paper Towel Holder, DON'T. It isn't as high quality as this towel holder. I wrote a review for that product too.

Elegant shelf provides convenience for storing and stacking extra folded towels. Double tiered towel bars create a fashionable way to display your favorite towels. Metal Construction provides durability in an attractive brushed nickel finish. Easy to install with 5 year manufacture's warranty. 24" wide X 11.90" deep X 7.08" high
I have it on top of the soaking tub. I keep 6 folded bath towels on the shelf and hang 2 hand towels on each bar ( there are 2 bars). Shelf is wide enough to put 2 folded bath towels side by side. I saw a few before buying this one and the biggest difference that I noticed is that all the other were very flimsy looking. It feels very sturdy, nice brushed nickel finish and clean lines.
As the Name says it is very "Hotel Style" The picture shows exactly how it looks. Comes with a template for easy installation.

I ordered this rack for my son's bathroom. His new condo has very little storage in the bathroom and towels were a problem. The rack was fairly easy to install, but admittedly I had my husband do it. He had it completely installed within an hour of it being delivered. The directions are easy to read and a template is included to help. After checking many local and on-line sources, we found this rack to be the perfect size and a great price.

This does exactly what it is designed to do, and does it well. In response to the complaint about it being designed for a wide door and moving around when put on one that's not so wide, it does have 2 pre-drilled holes to fasten it to the top of the door. In addition to using these, I trimmed off the excess metal (and it is made of metal, not plastic) with a hacksaw so it would not hamper the door from closing. With these 2 minor modifications it is perfect for hanging one towel and maybe a washcloth. I agree that 3 full-sized towels would be unlikely to dry if all placed on the rack at the same time while damp.

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little skeptical about purchasing this towel rack. Have to say, I have not been disappointed. It fits my door with no problem and is perfect for our spare bathroom. It doesn't move on the door or fall apart like our old one did. AND it's attractive. Very glad I bought it.
A simple, no tools required, way to expand towel space
This towel rack is a simple way to expand or create towel space without tools or fuss. Apartments never seem to have enough towel rods for more than one person, or they are located in less than optimal locations, so this is a simple way to expand towel space without drilling mounting holes. I received mine as a gift and have been using it for over two years.
The construction is metal, with the exception of the white caps at the ends of each rod. As some have mentioned, the hooks that go over the top of the door are very wide (2 1/8"). I've never had a door wide enough to fill the space; however, I haven't wanted to screw into the door either. My solution was to buy little clear, bumper pads (rubber or polyurethane--not sure which) and stick them to the inner surface of the hooks (to bracket the sides of the door) and behind the bottom corners of the rack. The bumper pads reduce and cushion any shifting. Even with the door open, I haven't had trouble threading on a bath sheet or three, or a combination of towel sizes.
That said, I have taken away one star because--though this has three towel rods--you can really only use two of the towel rods and have your towels dry adequately. I tend to hang my large bath sheet from the top rod and a smaller bath towel from the lowest rod. Both need to be folded in half to fit, so that what I get is much like the product picture (though my top towel is much larger).
Overall, I recommend this product as a simple, no tools required, way to expand towel space. Just keep the dimensions (22.5"H x 17.7"W x 3.7"D) and above limitations in mind when ordering.
Good extra towel space.

Although the hanging brackets are too large for common interior doors, they are perfect size for shower door frame. This still works well on interior doors, but needs protective padding on bottom so that it doesn't scratch the door. An easy fix would be to attach of piece of the self-stick padded squares made by 3M. This towel rack is sturdy and well made. I've had it up for a month now and had no problems with it.

Best one I have seen, but wall fasteners are weak

I had reviewed many towel racks on Amazon, and seen a few in the stores, which were just not what I wanted, but this one looked perfect. When it arrived, I put it together in about 10 minutes, and about 15 to hang it on the wall, with a helping hand to hold it when I marked the hole locations. I used the supplied 8 wall fasteners (some suggested using better ones), and after installation, I yanked on it to see if it would hold, it did. So I am sure it will hold up to many years of use (at least I hope so). I am very pleased with it. The wall anchors will fall in the wall if you are not careful, however, I used a 1/4" drill, which was the size of the anchor, and it seemed a tad loose, where some store bought ones would have a better lip to prevent falling into the wall, if you use the supplied ones, do not force the screw into the anchor, as it will go in too far and will be loose. I have a few screws that did just that, even though it holds quite well, but those few screws will not tighten up, they just spin. The others probably make up for it. The instructions did not have anyhing noted about the drill size to use, but on an after thought, a slightly smaller drill bit would have been better, maybe. If I need to, I can always take it down and replace the anchors if needed. Other than that, I like it.
This rack was easy to put together and install. (I did not do it but my boyfriend did). We put it in our 2nd bath and it looks great !! That bathroom is not used very often so we have not had any rust problems. I would definitely buy from Polder again.
